Scentsy has done it again! They've given us an enhancement for our favorite scents that can be combined to give an entirely new dimension.
So, what is ScenTREND? The ScenTREND designation identifies the
up-‐and-‐coming fragrance note for the new year found in home and fine fragrances. The following fine fragrances were recently released and contain Pink Pepper as an identifiable note:
- Gucci Guilty Intense by Gucci—2011
- Acqua di Gioia by Giorgio Armani—2011
- Love Blossoms by Kate Moss—2011
The ScenTREND designation is based on fragrance evaluations and trend analysis by fragrance experts at Scentsy and leading international fragrance houses.
The Pink Pepper fragrance is distilled from the rose-hued berries of the Peruvian pepper tree (Schinus molle), and conveys pepper-like spicy aromas with hints of angelica and juniper. It has no relation to traditional black peppercorns. Pink Pepper has a long history as a cooking spice, but it wasn't used in fragrance until the early 1990's. Pink Pepper's growing appeal in both personal and home fragrance and its bold, fresh scent make it worthy of being named ScenTREND 2012!
Scentsy has created a website where you can learn more information and I'll be receiving a bar of Pink Pepper with February's Warmer/Scent of the Month shipment!
